2 Ed Helm Films in one night.

Everytime I hang out with my friends it always becomes a movie night. Movies are fun and the stupid ones are even funner. Last night I saw two movies with my friend Braden, these movies being Vacation (2015) and The Hangover (2009). One left me just disappointed and the other left me laughing.

Vacation (2015)

Vacation is a film staring Ed Helm as an out of touch dad and airplane pilot and his family who are kinda forgettable to be honest other then the little kid. The scenes that are funny, are incredibly funny. The scenes that are unfunny were awful. The movie is trying to be an edgy R Rated film, while being a like family flick, and it's so awkward. It feels forced and faked. The constant throw up scenes, getting covered in feces, it's childish in a unfunny way. (not saying I don't find childish jokes not funny, I'm immature and giggle at Harold and Kumar, but these jokes are childish as in aimed for children.) The funny scenes are just so dumb and funny though. There's this one scene where there's several cops after the parents try to have sex and they're all fighting over state lines since this was at the 4 state monument. The scene with the little kid getting pushed to the ground and shutting up was also pretty fun. Overall I'm just greatly disappointed with this film, the funny parts are amazing, the unfunny parts ruin this film. 4/10? 5/10 I don't know, I'm not a scholar.

The Hangover (2009)

The Hangover is a film also staring Ed Helm, but with Bradley Cooper and Zach Galifianakis playing main characters as well. It's also just more funny and a better film then whatever Vacation was. The movie is so stupid but I love it. They all get absolutely roofied and completely mess up a hotel room. They don't remember anything from the night before. It's an amazing and funny adventure through Las Vegas, kidnapping, and why you should probably consider not doing drugs. It's still one of the most seriously fun movies I've ever seen. All I can do is praise it. The more nasty jokes that would usually disgust me are so quick that I don't get as grossed out by them. I wouldn't call this a stoner film by any means like Evil Bong but I would still call this a really good film that I would recommend to anyone who likes movies like Harold and Kumar. Easy 10/10 film if I ranked films.

Endorsement- 5/26/26

This is a post moved to the new blog.

This is the only political blog post I'll ever make. You will never see me mention politics on this blog again. I am endorsing Tom Steyer for Governor. I hate billionaires. and if there was a revolution he'd be strung up. But the truth is Xaiver Becerra can not become governor of the state of California. He is a conservative DINO and anti billionaires tax. Tom Steyer supports trans rights, wants to tax billionaries, and wants to pass CALCARE which no the national government won't prevent that. We literally just need to pass it. As much as it hurts to say I'm endorsing a billionaire who made his money through evil and disgusting ways. I am endorsing Tom Steyer of San Francisco to become the next governor of California.

Hit and run - 4/18/26

This is a post moved to the new blog.

I got in a hit and run today, well technically yesterday, it's 1:45 am but this was at 12 pm on the 17th. I'm still shaken even though it was so minor? the person speed, hit the side of the car, the front bumper came off on one side and the guy fled. Silver Car. We called the cops (sadly. I dislike cops.) and they told us there were no cameras and we were screwed. A person from the store we pulled in frnot of came out with duct tape and scissors. We got the bumper taped onto the frame. I gave the things back and thanked them deeply. I got in the back seat of the car. It was so minor, it was not bad at all. But everytime we drove and a car passed us. My Heart spiked. We made it back to my grandpa's place, we dropped him off with his, now beaten up car, and hopped in my mom's. We left straight out of that area. I'm fine, and I'm selfish for panicking. as I was fine, but it still feels weird in my head. The forward jut, the break, and your body rocking.

Why The 7th Generation of Games Consoles are a solid choice if you hate the internet. - 10/25/25

This is post moved to the new blog.

Recently I got back into the gaming consoless from when I was young, PS3, Xbox 360, and the Wii. I'll be honest most of these consoles did not age that well compared to the game consoles we have know. Like outside of Wii Play, Wii Sports, and Wii Fit Plus (Which I do actually plan on running a test to see if I can actually lose weight using so look out for that) Most of the games are boring, but the PS3 and Xbox 360 sent me for a run and had me surprised. The games still look good, they run good on the consoles they were made for, and Physical media support and hell if you need it. They both run Youtube and Netflix. The PS3 though runs it way better. The youtube app is smooth and supports Youtube Shorts, The Netflix app also runs just great and plays 1080p just fine. The Xbox 360 app does not support Youtube Shorts, and is slower, same thing with the Netflix App, It's super slow and buggy. The thing is this is about why these are great if you don't really wanna be connected to the internet. You wanna get away, and these are great. You have a big catalog of game, the ability to watch your physical movie collection on these, and have your games physically where they can't be taken away well unless you got something along the lines of disc rot or your lens either started to fail or in the case of my Xbox 360 get really dirty, but you can always fix that. You will lose stuff like multiplayer achivements and stuff but if you really wanna just be isolated from the internet or want devices that wont shove ads and internet down your face. Buy a PS3 or an Xbox 360. You will thank me later.
